Facebook’s algorithm feeds us filtered content that is more likely to reinforce rather than challenge existing viewpoints.

Democracy requires us to see things from other’s perspectives, but instead we are more and more enclosed in our own filter filter bubbles. It is up to us to be critical of what we read, and to cultivate our facts from a wide range of sources and ideological perspectives.
